What A Cute Card (Reader X Tavros)

It was a cute Tinkerbull shaped card. It was adorable with a giant head and had a happy expression. You picked it up smiling at how adorable the card was. You think for a moment contemplating who possibly gave you the card. You then remember your locker turning your attention back to it.

You went through your locker debating which books you might need. You’d hate to show up to class without some of your books and have to deal with teachers bitching. You sighed and grabbed what you were sure you would need. You decide you can deal with make up work later. You look about the halls and notice very few students walking around.

You lean against your locker opening the cute Tinkerbull card. You look at the semi-shaky handwriting. You look gently upon the few stray lines. You recognize the handwriting as that of your timid shy friend Tavros. You chuckle as you begin reading.

You grin at the card closing it with a smile. You stored the card in your bag as you started making your way down the halls to find your Pupa Pan. You would usually spend your Study Hall with Tavros since he was one of your closest friends. Study hall was just extra time at the beginning of school to let idiots study and finish their homework, and smartasses time to do extra credit. But the main point of it was to let the late bus kids get time so they won’t be late to class. Pretty smart with that in your opinion. It gave you time to goof around with Tavros and study with him.

You walked to the theater room in the school and looked around to find Tavros sitting in a corner with Gamzee. Your heart dropped a little as you took note of how close they were and how the room was fairly dark. You have a strong love for the troll, you also have a strong suspicion that he might already be in a matespritship with Gamzee. You shuffled in place making them turn their attention to you.

You faked a smile as they looked at you. Gamzee gave you a lazy but full hearted smile, Tavros showed his shy smile and waved. You nodded at them as you clutched your hands around some of the books you were carrying. You started turning to walk out since you didn’t want to bother them when you heard them move.

“hey motherfucker, WHERE THE HELL YOU GOING?” It was Gamzee, you looked at him smiling.

“I was just going to leave, I don’t want to intrude on anything.” You said as you turned back around.

“____ WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? yOU AREN’T INTRUDING ON ANYTHING.” You looked back at the troll smiling at him.

“Sorry I just assumed I was. You two are so close, I’d hate to come between the two of you.” You said while holding back some pain.

“hEY IT’S, uH, oKAY, yOU DIDN’T DO ANYTHING WRONG.” You smiled at Tavros while he smiled showing his sharp teeth.

“By the way, I got your card. Thanks for it, I really appreciate you remembering.” You said shifting with a smile shyly on your face.

Tavros grinned and playfully punched your arm. It was more like a tap since he wouldn’t put much effort in it. You truly smiled feeling like it was just you and Tavros until you remember Gamzee. You turned as he swiftly caught the two of you in his arms hugging the both of you. Laughter escapes all three of you and in the moment you forget that Gamzee and Tavros were alone together just a few moments ago.

It felt like you were there from the beginning with them, as though you had always been with them. In the hug while you patted Gamzee’s back to get him to let go of you, you notice that he was nuzzling his face against Tavros’. You felt time stop while you watched silently. You have a habit of thinking the worst of just about everything so you quickly felt like something snapped in you.

You tremble for a moment and wiggled your way out of Gamzee’s arms. You kept your head down feeling defeat. You knew Tavros for some time now but Gamzee of course knew him longer, that gave him an advantage against you in a battle for Tavros’ flushed quadrant. You grabbed your things and slowly started walking out the door.

The two trolls watched you confused for a moment. Tavros quickly rolled next to you, worry plastered all over his face. You walked out the door with Tavros following you, Gamzee stayed behind probably caught up in the miracle of the dark.

You stopped after a few steps down the hall. You leaned against the wall and looked down at the brown eyes troll in front of you. You kept your face expressionless, you felt hallow.

“____ WHAT’S WRONG?” Tavros asked looking up at you.

You chuckled a pained laugh, half hoping it would stop your pain. “I’m just curious Tavros. Sorry if I offend you but I really need to know something. Are you and Gamzee matesprits?” You looked down at him calmly despite your fear.

“____ WHY DOES THAT MATTER?” He looked up at you clearly confused.

“Please, just answer the question.” You said feeling cold.

“i DON’T SEE WHY IT MATTERS, uH, bUT NO.” You sighed sliding down on the wall slightly feeling relief.

“I see,” You chuckle running your fingers through your hair. “I thought you two were, you’re always spending so much time with him that it only seemed natural for the two of you to be matesprits.”

Tavros blushed slightly pouting at you. You chuckled again staring at him, he kept the gaze staring into your eyes. You both pulled smiles at each other, awkwardly or otherwise they were smiles none the less. Your gaze wondered Tavros, you analyzing him looking at his body carefully. You snap yourself out of it within a few moments.

“____ I WAS WONDERING IF MAYBE WE COULD, uH, sPEND LUNCH TOGETHER, iF YOU DON’T MIND.” Tavros said making you crack a smile.

“Sure Tav, how’s about we meet in the little theater, just the two of us.” You suggest with a wide grin.

Tavros nodded his head, you then heard the bell ring marking the beginning of the actual school day. You started walking towards your class as the halls filled with morons and smartasses. You turn back to get a last glimpse at one of the only descent students. Tavros was being taken to class by Gamzee, your glade to know Gamzee isn’t a threat.

*Time skip, a pupa pan silhouette flies by changing the scene.*

You had gone through half the school day and were kind of tired. One of your teachers told you happy birthday but it was a teacher you liked so you actually smiled at their attempt to be kind. Your friends knew you liked keeping your birthday a secret and just whispered you a happy birthday/wriggling day. You had already gotten your lunch from the cafeteria and were on your way to the little theater. You walked in with the usual visiting students there. You found a corner and pulled a chair up as you sat down starting to devour your food.

You kept glancing up at the door waiting for Tavros. You started to think he forgot and took out your fidu-span cards. You went through them planning some possible attacks and strategies. Most others would have grown tired of fidu-spawn but you never did and don’t plan to anytime soon. You then felt someone poke at your arm as you were looking through your cards. You look up to see Tavros smiling at you, you chuckle spotting crumbs of his lunch on his face.

You scoot your chair over giving Tavros space to roll himself next to you. You raised your hand to his face and rubbed away the spare crumbs. Tavros blushed under your fingers and you smiled kindly at him. You think back to the fact that Tavros is available and how much it is that you wish he was in your quadrants.

While you had been thinking about how much you want Tavros you were bringing yourself closer to him. He had chocolate brown blush scattered everywhere on his face. If it was embarrassment or anticipation you didn’t care. You found it so tempting to just yank him out of his four wheeled devise and run off with him as your and yours alone. But if you did that you’d get arrested for kidnapping him. Rules have to get in the way of your fantasies don’t they.

After holding Tavros still while his face grew dark brown with blush. You smiled shyly at him and pulled away. You rubbed your arm looking away from him. You had just been holding him and had your face mere inches from his face. How stupid could you get?

“h-HEY ____, uH, lOOK I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING.” Tavros had a scared look in his eye. Like he was scared you’d bite him or something.

“Sure, what is it Tavros?” You said shifting in your chair to get a better look at him.

“uH, wELL I WAS, uH WONDERING IF MAYBE, y-YOU’D MIND….” He was fidgeting and shifting uncomfortably, “m-AYBE YOU COULD CONSIDER, a MATESPRITSHIP WITH ME…” He trailed off keeping his gaze away from you.

You took a moment to process what you were just told. Tavros asked to be your matesprit, you know he is single, and you already spend plenty of time with him as is. He didn’t even say he was flushed, he got straight to mate sprits, he must have had some damn confidence to do that. He was nervous so he probably really meant it, he could have even backed out but he didn’t. He still wasn’t looking at you probably scared of facing you. You smiled and leaned over the side of his wheelchair wrapping your arms about him chuckling into his ear.

“My dear pupa, I thought that without love you’d be young forever. Isn’t matespritship a grown up thing?” You breathed into his ear chuckling to yourself.

He shivered chuckling with you, “wELL THAT DOESN’T MATTER, i’LL TAKE THAT CHANCE.” You grinned at Tavros quickly moving his chair so you were leaning on him.

You placed your hands on the arm rests of his chair trapping him definitely while you grinned at him. You leaned close to him making him blush a deep brown. While you grinned in his face you stared into the deep orbs of his eyes. You laid a quick kiss on his nose. You gave another grin at him as his blush that spread through his face.

“Of course I’ll be your matesprit Tav.” You said smiling at him.

As you were about to swoop in and steal a kiss from your dear pupa the bell rang. You grumbled as you gathered your things and helped lead Tavros out into the hall. Before he could leave you did manage to leave a small peck on his cheek. You wondered off into the crowd of people leaving Tavros a bit of a blushing mess.

*Time Skip, tinkerbull flies by changing time.*

You got through the day with few disturbances. Close friends wished you happy wriggling day or a happy birthday. Teachers didn’t notice which was a plus for you, it was fair. You were heading to your locker collecting your things while your thoughts wondered to Tavros. Perhaps you can find him in the after crowd of exiting students.

You gather the last of your books and possessions as you swiftly close your locker. As you turned around to look for your little brown blood you found him right there behind you. You jump back surprised by how quiet he had kept. He smiled at you as you chuckled at the situation.

You looked around the halls seeing it was cleared out, a grin graced your face. Tavros looked at you curiously wondering what was on your mind. You rolled your shoulders grinning at Tav.

“You know what’s going to be fun Tav?” You said going behind his wheelchair ready to push it.

“uUH WHAT?” He was clearly confused but you just grinned more.

“Racing your wheelchair down the halls.” You said as you took off pushing him down the halls.

Tavros gripped the arm rests laying back as you ran. He was laughing rather nervously while you cackled like a madman. You rushed down the halls spinning back around just to run again. You eventually slowed down as you realized something flew out of your bag.

You stopped your madness and bent down to pick it up. You saw it was the adorable card Tavros had given you. You smile looking at it for a moment as happiness floods you. You were quickly pulled out by the feeling of someone papping your arse.

You turned around holding the card in one hand and your butt in the other. Tavros was chuckling to himself with brown faintly appearing on his face. You pouted wanting to be slightly mad at him, but you can’t bring yourself to since he is the adorable brown blood that he is.

You grinned at him, “What, you couldn’t keep your hands off?” you said shaking your ass while you chuckled.

“sO WHAT IF I DID? wE ARE MATESPRITS.” He chuckled grinning.

You laughed, he may be able to act like an asshole from time to time, but he is your asshole now. It’s not like you should have expected anything less from your matesprit after all.

“Alright you got me there, but I make the next move Nitram.” You said smirking at him.

“uUH WHAT ARE YOU GETTING AT ____?” He asked as you started.

You leaned over his sitting figure in his wheelchair. You smiled as you brought your face to his. Gingerly you pressed your lips to his as you resting you knee against his own. You held onto his shoulders to help you keep balance leaning against him. He smelled of _fav chocolate_ chocolate, it was a thick smell that you tried to inhale through your nose.

You let out a small gasp as you felt some warm hands pull you down. Tavros tried slipping his tongue in but he wasn’t quick enough, you had closed your mouth off, biting got his tongue yes but he did retreat before any bleeding. You pulled back panting with a _blood color_ face. You saw the grin on Tavros’ face and saw that he had you straddling his lap.

You grinned in his face lazily throwing your arms around his neck making him blush. Chuckling you leaned into his ear making sure you let out a heavy hot breath. Taking a few breaths silently composing your words you stayed still making Tavros squirm.

“Not anytime soon Tav.” With that you leaped back off of Tavros’ lap.

You chuckled at his dark face, you moved behind his chair starting to get him down and out of the building. You rolled him out making small talk as you decided to stay with him at his place for a bit. On the way you stopped to look into the window of a small card store.

You both stopped to stare at the cards for a moment. Tavros pointed to an adorable one of a couple with the male of course in a wheelchair. You smile to yourself, you’ll have to remember to get that card for Tavros when it comes to an anniversary, it’d make a cute card.
